Table mat embroidery

This is my latest embroidery project - a table mat.

The pattern is from an old table sheet.

As you can see here, the tracing part has been done.The next part is embroidering, which I haven't started.

Paisley patterns

 My CPU was not working.It has been sent for servicing for months now and still no sign of it being repaired.My son had been pestering me to buy a tab for some time and since the PC is not working, I had to to give in.After typing on a keyboard all these years ,I find it difficult to tap or swipe on a tab but I’m not giving up.This is my first attempt at posting on blogger on a tab.
I know that most of you adore paisley patterns.So today I would like to share with you some Paisley patterns:

Smooth purl (zardosi thread) flowers -part 2

Sorry for not posting for a long time.I was busy with everyday life that blogging took a backseat.My blog has reached more than 1 million pageviews, so thank you all for making it a huge success.When I started blogging, never in my wildest dreams that I thought I would reach a one million target.Thank you again for all your support.

Smooth purl (zardosi thread) flowers

When I first found smooth purl (zardosi thread) in my small town a few years back, I was so excited that I decided to experiment with it. The results were these flowers which I created from various stitches.I had only a small amount of the thread then, so I was somewhat stingy and kept recycling it for the various flowers that you can see below.In the end, fix it onto the fabric using a thin layer of fabric glue.

This is a twisted lazy daisy stitch petals.
